The Gypsy Queen, written in English and translated into Spanish, is an American adventure across six states: Oregon, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Idaho. Featuring the Cervantes, their dog Bonnie and the family camper named “Gypsy Queen,” this story is an enthusiastic exploration of the western United States with plenty of fun facts unearthed along the way. Through spirited illustrations, bilingual narrative and personal journal entries, you’ll ride along with Pedro, Heather, Penny, Paul and Bonnie as they share the best road trip ever!

AUTHOR

Dr Laura Stanton is the author of two bilingual children’s books. A philanthropist, she is an advocate for adoption and quality education. She loves good schools and helping kids find their “forever homes.” Dr Laura, along with her husband, David, founded The Stanton Foundation in 1994, providing funding for charter schools and resource centers. They also help people all over the world who need food, clothing, shelter, love and support.

 

Dr Laura is a lover of life, nature and all animals. She is a Catholic Christian making a difference by serving others in need. She and David spend their time in Michigan and California where they happily care for four alpacas, one cat, 25 chickens, and three horses named Coke, Francie and Justin.

ILLUSTRATOR

Beth Armstrong, 23, holds a BA honors degree in illustration and animation. She resides in England and has a little green bird named Henry. Beth loves swimming, playing video and card games and is an expert archer. She is a huge fan of Disney and loves anything crafty!
